On June 6th, the tech community gathered for the third edition of the ICTjournal Spring Party at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, marking a significant occasion for industry leaders and innovators. With a picturesque backdrop of the lake and the refreshing air all around, the event was not only a networking haven but also a celebration of technological advancements and collaborations.

The event brought together about 250 participants, including IT managers, suppliers, service providers, startups, IT specialists, developers, students, and researchers. The highlight of the evening was the connection made between IT and Olympism, emphasizing the crucial role of technology in the upcoming Paris Olympics. The narrative stressed the importance of IT in managing logistics, transport, and security infrastructure, while also pointing out the vulnerabilities such as the anticipated rise in cyberattacks. The two Digital Awards, a focal point of the event, were presented to the winners who celebrated innovation, and creativity. Kidan took pride in supporting these awards, which recognized the talents of a startup and a student group from HEC Lausanne. The startup Effixis and the most innovative students’ project from HED Lausanne’s, Master degree in IS stood out as deserving winners on digital sobriety through an escape game, reflecting the innovative spirit that Kidan breathes and aims to promote.
